Rotary Watches
In 1895 Moise Dreyfuss opened the first Rotary watch factory in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds. By the 1920’s Rotary had opened an office in Britain to import the family watches, which was to become the company’s most successful market. The now famous Rotary logo, the ‘winged wheel’ was introduced in 1925 and in 1940 Rotary was appointed the official watch supplier to the British Army.
